GR meter switching

I find it a little annoying that it reverts to the input meter rather than the gain reduction meter everytime i close and re-open the plug-in window. Is this a bug or is it like this for a reason?

I think you are being a little hard on yourself! It sounds to me like you've set out to do what you acheived. It sounds to me like you have done everything right. The production is finished and I would say it's much better to look at T-racks as the mastering stage. Geist isn't really set up for accu...

Geist/BFD ECO usage in Instrumental track

Used Geist and BFD eco for this one. All drums on one engine in geist. Samples (in intro) used on another engine. Then used BFD eco for cymbols etc.

Any one else entered the Beyonce remix on her website?

Heres my entry

I used Geist for all the drums/programming except for the ride cymbol which comes from BFD2.

Enjoy!

A Song featuring GEIST!

Man, i love Geist. All of the drums in this track were done in Geist using factory sounds and also the vocal samples were triggered from Geist using a trigger finger. I've just started using multiple engines and with my midi controller set to channel 9 it's so flexible and deep! Anyway here is the t...

I use an alesis control pad with foot pedal for kick. I picked one up second hand for $100. I'm no drummer but it feels pretty good to me. Much more fun than drawing hits in!

I'm not sure how to make a video of it, but i think a better way of explaining what i want is to compare it to 'playlists' in itunes. I think shortlists would be better if they worked exactly like that! In itunes you don't have to save playlists, all the songs you add are always there and you can ea...

Thanks Drew but thats not what i mean. Say for example i am going through a sample pack with various hits to add them to shortlists. My shortlists are 'kick', 'snare', 'hats' etc and it seems a bit clumsy having to 'save as' so often if i want to quickly add samples to their shortlists. What would b...

FR: Shortlist improvement

I love the shortlists feature in the browser but it would be good to be able to drag and drop a file from the browser directly onto the shortlists on the bottom left to add to them. Also a 'save' feature would be good instead of just 'save as'. This would speed up workflow significantly for those lo...
