I need a little convincing to upgrade. Here is what might help me: - the sounds...by all accounts better than BFD2 so check - the presets...I struggle with drum mixing. So good presets that push me off in the right direction are critical. Are the presets better than BFD2? Will I find it easier to ge...

Cymbals cutting off

Hi everyone. I can't do an audio bounce without cymbals cutting off. Not sure how to resolve. Have read other threads on the subject but have not found anything that helps. First my specs: Windows 7, 64 bit service pack 1 Intel quad core i7 2.67 GHz 16GB RAM DAW Sonar X2 I have the offline button en...

Pre-processed kits for BFD2

Hello. I have owned BFD2 for some time but struggled to come up with decent sounding drums because I have little experience. This is more of a hobby. Are there expansion packs out there that have more of a pre-processed sound than the pure unprocessed goodness of BFD samples that can be used within ...

If I were a carepenter

Cover version of an old tune by Tim Hardin. Always loved this tune and wanted to lay something down. Does the mix work?

WOW! Awesome- 64 bit. Guys you hoodwinked us (under promise/ over deliver). I at least thought that I would have to wait for BFD 3.

When you see what is out there today in terms of other offerings, I am not sure what BFD3 could offer to be superior once more.

;).

I think that's about all I'm allowed to say at this point. :)

Darn! It almost worked. Almost provoked you to spill the beans! 8)

Are you seriously suggesting that Ezdrummer is a better product than BFD???? It doesn't even come close to BFD 1.5 let alone 2. For me personally the single most important thing when choosing BFD over it's competitors was sound quality. I couldn't give a monkeys if everyone else is walking in a 64b...

Whilst I can share people's frustrations that BFD is not 64bit yet, it really riles me the logic behind some of it. (i bet fxpansion have smashed a few keyboards up!) Since BFD2 came out Steinberg were only just on Cubase 4 with a very dodgy 64bit version. A few updates later then it was abandoned ...

I wonder if there will ever be a BFD3. The drum vst market has become so saturated. Also Slate drums and EZdrummer really stole the show from BFD. Are you seriously suggesting that Ezdrummer is a better product than BFD???? It doesn't even come close to BFD 1.5 let alone 2. For me personally the si...
