BFD2 Core Library in BFD2?

Can I install the bfd2 library in bfd3?

If so, do I just install it like any other expansion pack?

Typing in values

It would be nice to be able to type in values on knobs and faders.
The current method of moving things with the mouse is too inacurate and time consuming.

Re: vintage recording techniques problem!

Understood. I feel, at this point, that I'm just going to go for a refund. I'm not willing to sacrifice any kit detail to make it run smoothly. As I said in my original post, I've met all of the system requirements and it will not run to a satisfactory level. I have many expansion packs, and of cour...

Re: vintage recording techniques problem!

Ok,

Still super glitchy when programming grooves.

I sent an email to tech support on Saturday and still have had no reply!

Re: vintage recording techniques problem!

There is only so many parameters that you can change in BFD. I'm running it in stand alone mode at the moment, so daw settings don't come into play at this point. So far, what I have achieved is, loading a preset, waiting for it to become responsive, then, the first ten hits on any kit piece is met ...

Re: vintage recording techniques problem!

I am using it in "stand alone" and obviously in the studio I have lots of ram.

I'm trying it in my mobile computer that only has 4gb of ram. although, it runs my other ten expansion packs no problem.

Re: vintage recording techniques problem!

Yup, Tried all that (and more)

Right now, I'm just looking for someone to give me a refund.

I think the VRT needs over 4gb of ram just to load (as far as I can tell) which is not mentioned anywhere in the system requirements.

vintage recording techniques problem!

Hi All, I purchased the new expansion pack yesterday morning. the download and installation went fairly smoothly. when I try to open any of the presets. or kits, it loads for about five minuets, then crashes BFD. I'm all up to date with my versions of BFD etc. I read the system requirements for this...

Re: Jim Scott installation problem

Yeah,
tried discs 1&2 of packs 1&2 in three different drives.
Still just hanging at 0 or 1℅
Not a problem I've encountered at any time before.
I'm sure it will turn out to be something simple in the end

Jim Scott installation problem

Hi all, I have recently purchased Jimm Scott Drums 1&2 in hardcopy dvd format. The issue I'm having is that when I try to install disk 1 After 20 minutes it is still on 1℅. Is it normal for it to take so long? It's been a while since I had a hardcopy expansion pack to install. I contacted Rail a...

Groove editor flam frustration!

I'm having a real problem with this and hope someone can help. When programming in the groove editor, I am trying to create a snare flam by positioning two hits of the same articulation close together. I turn off snap, create my two hits, drag them apart to get the size of flam I'm looking for. But ...

The "drumdrops" dub kit for BFD is fantastic!

Go check it out, let me know what you think.
I've been using it to prepare for an upcoming reggae album and I'm having no problems getting classic sounds

Re: REAPER Users

Hi jord, No snap not on. Just seems like strange behaviour. With the zoom right in, one millimetre in one direction results in too wider a flam and one millimetre in the other direction results in no flam at all. Have even gone into settings and changed the re-trigger time to zero, but still no joy!...

Re: REAPER Users

I tend to use the BFD groove editor with BFD as a plugin in reaper. I've found the piano roll in Reaper to be a pain in the ass. I obviously have to use it quite a lot for editing other instruments, but any chance to use something else is most welcome. Also, staying in the BFD interface allows for m...
