Re: Quick Question about BFD1 Grooves and Kits

Adding a content path containing BFD 1 grooves *ought* to pick up any BFD 1 groove bundles (.bfb) just fine. Searching the folder containing the grooves in the Content Locations panel should bring up all the bundles in the Groove Browser. The only thing to be aware of is because the old grooves were...

Install issues on macOS Sierra (10.12) (Resolved)

Since the release of macOS Sierra (10.12) some users have experienced problems running our installers. We've reproduced the issue and are working on a fix. This may take a little time, however there is a workround which should allow the installers to run correctly: Make a folder on your desktop call...

Hi, you don't have to be using the beta to get the deals (though if you want to try the packs out the beta is a good way!) - they're running until 31 July from www.fxpansion.com.

Right, looking for a couple of people with the key map problem to try a possible solution: Shutdown BFD2 and delete the following folder (substituting your Windows user name for 'username' below): C:\Users\ username \AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\FXpansion\BFD2 (64-bit Windows) or C...

Okay all, we think we have a repro of the keymap issue in-house. Now, please press (1) if you're interested in the detail, or press (2) to skip to the summary. . . Detail: Looks like we're triggering Windows UAC and the 32-bit version is actually picking up maps from <user folder>\AppData\Local\Virt...

Good news! I have confirmation from Steinberg they have resolved the issue and the fix will be in the 6.0.2 release of Cubase 6 which I believe should be very soon.

I've sent information on the issue to Steinberg to try to get a firm answer on this one and will report back when I know more. Just for some more background info, what I'm experiencing here is that if I drag the MIDI onto the BFD2 instrument track I get the corrupt message, but if I drag onto a blan...

Sorry for the delay but 1.0.2.8 Win 7 x64 beta is available as public beta now (with the same functionality as the new 32-bit version). Let us know how you find it.

Cheers,

Steve.

Can you try this on the just-released 1.0.2.8 x64 build please and let us know how that goes. I've got a folder here with > 150 swing templates and I'm not getting the same behaviour you show here.

Thanks,

Steve.

As I say, really sorry this has been so troublesome for you (and sorry we didn't get back to you quickly) but based on your crash log I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the browser and the particular filenames it's trying to display. There's a bug which means that when the browser tries to alphabeti...

Really sorry about this one, but we think we know what it is. We found an issue with the browser yesterday which we'd never come across before to do with Unicode characters in the browser.

Do you have any non-English characters in any of your folders that you know of?

I've taken a look at this with Cubase 4.5.2 and I think it may be more than just the Cubase 5.5 issue - we're getting more latency than I would hope between Spitter and Geist. I'm going to see if there's anything I can do to reduce the latency and will report back when I've had a chance to analyse w...
