Re: Saving View in Standalone

Is there a way of saving a complete preset containing the kit, groove and screen layout in stand alone? In my case, I only want to see the kit and mixer below that - no preset panel, etc. and load that as a default when I run BFD. Your presets will save all, kit, mixer, groove, keymap, automation a...

Re: Vintage Recording ORTF Mic distortion

As expected, no reply after 16 days since the first post. And this is in the official support forum! One thing to say: Hello Superior Drummer 3! This is NOT the official line of support, the forum is for user support by other users but fxpansion do check in and help but nowhere near as often as the...

Re: BFDLAC Tool Shenanigans

Also, looking at your screen shot the progress bar appears to have not moved and there should be a side scroll bar to show you all the files that have been converted.

I just did a quick test and have posted a picture below, all working fine here

Re: BFDLAC Tool Shenanigans

Oh dear, I see you have, "REMOVE .WAV selected which probably means you can't re-run it? Whenever I used it I always used a different folder to the source folder and I think you're actually supposed to do that but without reading the instructions I can't say for sure but I suspect therein lies ...

Re: Expansion not showing (Vintage Rec Tech)

When you say it, "listed the Serial number instead of the actual "Vintage Recording Techniques" product name in the Auth Manager screen" I take it you mean under the, "Name" section? On mine it doesn't actually say, "Vintage Recording Techniques" just the pref...

Re: BFDLAC Tool...

I think I still have a version somewhere but basically it was incorporated within BFD3 so it no longer exists as a separate tool.

I'm sure the old stand alone version could reverse BFDLAC files to .WAV files which the one built in to BFD3 doesn't seem to be able to do.

Re: Anybody have the actual audio files for the Cocktail Kit (BFD2)?

That's a good question. Since I just have BFD3 ... is the BFD2 Core Library not included in the BFD3 Core Library? I don't have the BFD2 Library available for download. In my ProgramData > FXpansion > BFD2 folder I do see some folders but no audio files... No, the BFD2 Core Library came with the or...

Re: Anybody have the actual audio files for the Cocktail Kit (BFD2)?

Huh. Ok, I mean I'm using BFD3 - don't see why it wouldn't work then if the files have already been converted to the new format ?? The audio (BFDLAC) files are contained within the single download. Cocktail kit is very small, 793mb when installed. It is only 1 kick, 1 snare and 2 toms, the hats and...

Re: Anybody have the actual audio files for the Cocktail Kit (BFD2)?

Have you downloaded the cocktail for use with BFD2? If so contact support because whilst it states that it is for use with BFD2 I can see that they only have the BFD3 and BFD Eco version in their download. The audio is there but it is in the new BFDLAC format which BFD2 can not see or play. I used t...

Re: Serial Authorization Fail

I just purchased the Nfuzd Rock pack and was able to install the BFD Eco software on a MacBook Pro (El Capitan). I downloaded the new license manager and was able to register my account. When I entered my serial number to authorize I keep getting an error message stating I must have entered the num...

Re: Vintage Recording ORTF Mic distortion

Checked it out more. There seems to be a problem with the ORTF mics. Take any preset and crank up the ORTF fader and hit say, a high tom. Watch the meters. You should see the right channel outputting a full 4 seconds longer than anything else. Not only does it last longer, it sounds like the mic ca...

Re: Vintage Recording ORTF Mic distortion

Hi, Is that distortion that carries on for seconds normal? If I load up the Blue Funky kit and hit say, the tom or snare, the ORTF mic give a nasty noise sound. If you click on Mute it stops but if you click on it to Unmute is is still there a full second and a half later. For me, it makes that mic...

Re: Upgrading from BFD Eco to BFD3

Upgrading to BFD3. Do the expansion packs for BFD3 have more levels of velocity than BFD Eco expansion packs? If I want more levels of velocity than my BFD Eco expansion packs should I again buy the same expansion packs for BFD3? Yes BFD3 has up to 256 velocity layers although I'm not sure which ex...

Re: London Sessions and ArticTweaks.xml

Just bought the London Sessions expansion pack for BFD3, The sounds are really nice but good lord why is everything so loud? I figured since fxpansions is not taking care of this I wil do it myself. So to test this I went into the Ayotte Keplinger Snare folder and adjusted the dbtrim values for all...
