Re: drag`n drop midi files from tremor into the daw

I would also sacrifice the "different loop length" feature, for drag n drop - in a heartbeat.

Along similar but different lines as 'jimk' above: I bet it's already been said, but definitely more "swap-in" hit samples are required at the SAME velocity level. Anti-machine gun mode and loads of velocity layers does not resolve this problem currently. When hits are consecutive and at t...

Understood - I was meaning for the upcoming version of BFD - not the original incarnation! I wasn't referring to the original incarnation either. Development of BFD2 actually began in 2006. BFD1 development began several years before that! Ah.... I see!!! Thanks for pointing that out Rob - it's enl...

Firstly thank you very much for clearing up this issue. I'm sure it will be very useful for a lot of users and potential users too. With my confusion now clear, I hope you can see why some of my questions appear way off target. Basically I was under the impression that the next incarnation of BFD wa...

Guys, If I may humbly suggest, the speculation on 64bit isn't helping anything. Rob said previously: If we were to make BFD3, it would support 64-bit on both Windows and Mac platforms. However, we have yet to announce such a product. Can we just leave it at that for now. We've got a few different p...

OK - it appears I may be confused here.... :? I now here from another user that "it seemed pretty clear that BFD3 will be 64 bit, it's the BFD2 engine update that won't be"? Some of my confusion I think has come from the survey. I thought/assumed that it was fielding for user feedback towa...

What won't be 64 bit is the next BFD2 engine update... did I read anywhere it was expected for this month?

Pim

OK - this is news to me - could you point me to where fxpansion say this clearly?

Thanks!

one suggestion, hire more programmers because development is too slow. BFD2 should have been one of the first to go 64bit instead of one of the last, or at the very least some maintenance releases including the fix for load on demand using anti machine gun mode. bfd has been neglected for an uncomf...

Yeah man.. there has been a lot of crying over 64 bit support. I would love though being surprised with 64 bit support for the next build. But the subject was discussed a lot here... just do a search for 64 bit support...and you will realize it is not expected anytime soon :-( Pim Groan... once mor...

We actually don't support running more than one instance per-project. But if you're getting on fine with it... then I guess continue - we don't support it though! Hello folks - this is why I never tried running more than one instance!! Funny isn't it - I was told (by one of the folks at Fxpa...

Thanks for the info people! I'm really glad to see that native 64-bit support (for both Mac and PC I assume?) came out tops - that's the main thing I'm gagging for  I am looking forward to an announcement alluding to a release schedule!!! Thanks for listening to the users - goodonya :D

Just to add a couple of things here - One huge improvement would be to allow more than one instance of BFD3 to be within a single project. This would help to alleviate the probable problems of single cores on the computer getting maxed out (resulting in core audio overload), while other cores are si...
