Re: Drum Drops Gretsch Round Badge Directs Missing ...

It does state this in the description though I can see where the second part can be confusing.

"You have full control over the five microphones that were used to record this kit and once loaded into BFD you can enjoy all the same features that you would expect from any other BFD kit. "

Re: BFD3 Metadata Editor.

If you want tidy metadata this saves hours of time. It's great.

Re: BFD3 and Yamaha DTXtreme3

If you haven't already - I'd check out the vdrums forum here for vdrum specific advice

https://www.vdrums.com/

You also may want to try the silicon pads for the DTX if you don't want to get a new module.

You could also try Yamaha support for specific DTX questions.

Re: BFD3 and Yamaha DTXtreme3

Turn the knob you should see 920k wide, 920k normal, XP wide, normal, STD wide, normal, narrow, etc.

For the rubber pads, i believe STD should be used.

Re: BFD3 and Yamaha DTXtreme3

It's in the DTX brain - look for the trigger settings.

Re: BFD3 and Yamaha DTXtreme3

Almost certain it is the same brain. If you are missing very quiet notes, try setting your trigger settings to wide.

Re: BFD3 and Yamaha DTXtreme3

DTX900gm.zip
here is the map I use.

I use the the DTX with silicon pads and I like the feel much better than the rubber.

I also use the XP Normal preset under trigger settings.

Just wanted to say this kit sounds fantastic despite the Kontakt screen image! :) Well worth a listen.

Re: Drumdrops Modern Folk Rock Kit

Bummer - it is a different sound than I've had with other packs. I think the included midi shows it off in a good light.

Drumdrops Modern Folk Rock Kit

Just wanted to put out a thumbs up for this kit. Lively sound, plus the grooves are very cool that come with it.

Re: BFD Metadata and Database Editor (edit: OSX version in testing!)

FYI if running in Windows 10, try running as administrator. I noticed that running as my reg user account, the tmp files weren't being saved into the actual files after changing. Still use this tool to clean up most new packs I get. Thanks.

ditto on the slowness. Other phpbb sites don't have this lag. Hopefully you guys can get it sorted.

A nice 2 day pre order price like the contemporary vintage would be great :)

Re: A little disappointed with Sphere

Just picked this up. Lack of side stick aside, I like the sound of the presets. The snare has bite. I must have over a hundred snares for BFD so if I need lighter playing, I'll opt for a different drum. Happy with the sound of this one!
