Re: What's going on?

Last update was released only last month. What fixes are you waiting for?

Re: Spitter 2 Connection Problem

The functionality should be pretty much the same as Geist1.

Insert Spitter2 on your chosen DAW channel.
Open Geist2.
Switch to Sampler mode in the Pads panel.
From the Source drop down, select Spitter (from the bottom of the list.

This video shows the process too:

Re: BFD3 and Audio Interface Audient ID22

Have you installed the latest update of BFD3? (V. 3.1.4.5)

Also, make sure are up to date with the Audient drivers also.

Re: trouble setting up Korg padKONTROL. Please help!

Just checking, because you don't mention it, but have you tried the Korg PadKontrol key map preset that ships with BFD3?

Re: Transport with an external midi controller

CC is fine. After you've Learned the Play button, open up the Mapping panel and try the different Response Types (the Type column - scroll right if you can't see it). I suspect you'll need either Trigger or Gated.

Thanks for the kind words :)

Re: Loading kits?

BFD3 is clever enough to know you already have some of the correct kit pieces loaded and won't load them again 8)

Re: Copy Tech and Model info

Save them as "processed drums". Then load again via the browser (Drums/Processed).

The drop down menu at the top of the Tech/Model tabs is just there to quickly change the underlying kit piece without changing the tuning, bleed etc etc.

Re: Samples on separate drive?

If you're not seeing any problems with them on your main drive then there's no reason to move them. Drives are faster than they used to be (especially SSDs!) so the old advice is perhaps not as pertinent as it once was. If you do want to move the data though (for example to save you reinstalling it ...

Re: Transmod!

Here's some ideas: - use Mini Sequencer source to get graphs that loop out of time with your patterns - use triggered s&h sources to get random values whenever a certain pad it triggered - use Maths / Flip Flop with a trigger to get alternating modulation source (eg. pan a hihat alternating left...

Re: Getting this message "PowerPC Applications are no longer supported" on my new Mac Air

It should do. Guru is a legacy product now so we don't officially support it anymore, but as far as we're aware there are no issues with that 1.6.2 version on Intel Macs.

Re: Future plans for Tremor

We really can't comment on possible future releases. But, it's worth saying that we don't abandon products lightly (see BFD, Guru/Geist, Synth Squad). We do sometimes have more time between major updates than some other companies, but that's because we believe in building products with depth that wi...

Re: Geist as trigger for other drum software?

We might be a tad bias towards the BFD platform on these forums  One thing worth bearing in mind. Geist's MIDI output is fixed, so you'd need to be able to remap incoming MIDI in whatever plugin you choose. That's no problem in BFD Eco or BFD3. One more thing you may want to check out is the BF...

The Maths Transmod source - examples

I thought it might be useful to give a few examples of using the Maths TransMod source. It's very deep and cool and hopefully a few examples will encourage people to experiment. I'll add more when I get time :) Multiplying LFOs Simple setup using two LFOs (Slot 1 & 3) and a Maths module to multi...
