If you look under the BFD2 logo on the main interface it should give you a number like 2.0.0.0. This is the version number. You might be due an update as I think only the older versions used exclamation marks in the kit piece slots. More recent versions put the error warnings on the taskbar at the b...

Sure,

In Engine Preferences:

- enable 16bit mode
- reduce max velocity layers

Those are the big two. Remember to restart the engine, otherwise these tweaks won't take effect.

Does it appear in the list of multi-channel plugins when you go to inserts on an Instrument menu? If so, what happens when you try and insert it. If not, can you see the .dpm files in your /Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins/ folder ?

Hello telstar,

It really quite simple. Put the BFD Audio Data on your F: drive and all the programs and plugins on your C: drive.

As far as we're aware, BFD is working fine in Pro Tools 8. Are you having problems?

Hi Robert, There's no reason BFD shouldn't work on any 10.5.x version. Best thing to do is install from the latest update, and manually copy the audio data from the BFD folder on your install DVDs.
