Although we can't always monitor the forum, we aren't in the habit of ignoring support requests. Where did you send it to?

It seems Motu changed the AU specs in DP6. We are aware of the problem, and should have some news for you pretty soon.

The Sync to MTC feature is in the main Preferences menu. You just need to enable it, and then send Midi Clock (NOT Midi Timecode) from your external device.

BFD2 standalone has a 'Sync to MTC' feature (although this actually syncs to Midi Clock, not Midi Timecode - something we need to fix  ).

You could also use the plugin version in a host that supports whatever sync method suits you.

There are specific step by step instructions for authorizing from a different machine in the booklet that comes with BFD2. Is there a specific part you are confused about?

You're probably better doing a manual delete of all Guru related files: - delete application from your Applications folder - delete Guru's RTAS plugin file from /Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins - delete Guru plist files from /Users/[username]/Library/Preferences Don't install the ver...

Yeah the system drive isn't ideal for all the reasons you stated. Is your drive using fw800 or fw400? Do you also store PT session data on the drive?

Your system should be more than capable of running BFD2 (and BFD1 for that matter :?)

Damned work  The PNG problem is a difficult one. Some users have reported updating their OS fixed it, but ultimately it's been a b*tch to track down. Cymbals choking is usually is a symptom of disk streaming problems. Try tweaking these settings: - enable 16bit mode - increase your RAM Buff...

Is this with old sessions you are reloading? Does it happen on new sessions aswell? I still think deleteing the dpm files and reinstalling the update might help.

I mean run the installer again.

Do you have anything else on that FW400 bus? Your audio card is on USB right?

Hi scissorkicks,

Did you solve this? Does it happen with standalone aswell? What if you use BFD in a session with no other audio?

You could try deleting the rtas files from your plugins folder and reinstalling the 1.5.46 update.

sancr1 - the log you posted looks perfectly normal.

Have a look in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins and tell me if you can see any files beginning with VW_ with the extension .dpm - for example DW_BFD2.dpm. These are the wrapped RTAS files that the adapter creates.
