Hi,

Kinda having a hard time understanding what the issue is exactly. Could you email us through the ticketting system, and explain your problem in a bit more detail.

Where did you buy it from? We're still sending out GURU's to distributors, so I'm not sure what is going on here. You can buy direct from us, if you wish. Shipments are typically within a week.

I'd be more tempted to bus the snare directs together in the mixer, and use a gate plugin to cut the ringyness.

Sorry for suggesting a silly.. but are you actually alt+clicking the kitpieces as opposed to hovering? Also, make sure you're updated to the latest version of your drivers and also the latest version of BFD2. This could be a Windows Vista incompatibility with your soundcard's ASIO drivers. Also try ...

Interesting.

Do you get any problems when running other audio programs - such as Reaper, for example? How about when you load BFD2 as an instrument inside a host. Can you get sound from it then?

Do your kitpieces load okay, and do you see the levels in the mixer go up and down?

What soundcard are you using, and are you selecting the correct ASIO driver and sample-rate?

Please make sure you've got your soundcard setup correctly in the standalone's preferences - NOT BFD2's preferences. but the preferences at the top of the Window.

It's called "I/O Settings" in the latest builds.

Another one I whipped up for Evil Drums. Same procedure as before. Couple of grooves in there demonstrating how it sounds.

Put it in your FXpansion\presets\ folder in your documents section, and then trash and rescan your database.

Sure, just load it in and then replace the drums. The mixer will keep its settings, and the grooves will remain. Save it after you've changed it.

It's just something I knocked up whilst munching some soup! (I'm going frugal with my dietary choices, yummy!)

I dunno if this'll float your boat, but I quite likesy. Supposed to suit more progressive rock/metal type stuff, suited to atmospheric guitars and bass rather than all out thrash.

I can do more at some point.

Guys, I'm fairly confident that if you aren't getting this issue when you offline BFD2 and render from your host, that that means it is not the samples. There is something else at work: a memory leak, a poor configuration of the BFD2 preferences, not fast enough hard drive, etc.. Please post again s...

Hmm.. when I loaded that patch, and played the groove, I got the groove, but it was riddled with clicks and pops. I turned off the effects, and it played fine. So, perhaps this is simply down to overloading the CPU - which might explain why it's not being reproduced when rendering drums down in off...
