Cocktail kit perhaps? Sorry, but I have to say it sounds awful. Not the kit but what your playing just doesn't work in any shape or form for me. That whole groove or (whatever you want to call it) just doesn't compliment the backing track at all. Square pegs and round holes if you know what I mean. ...

Also, you didn't say whether you were in 64bit win7?
If so windows creates 2 folders for both 64bit and 32bit (can't remember what theye are called though.
Maybe you're telling sonar to scan the "64bit" folder where as BFD2 will bbe in the 32bit.
Just a guess

Just out of curiousity Rob,
which host sequencers would you say handle the 32bit jump to 64bit the best?
What's your top 5?
Or would you prefer not say?

How do I measure the vollume other than looking at the wave. I'm sure there used to be a, "file/properties" in soundforge but can't find it now. Posted a Jpeg to show vollume, I think you just need to turn your speakers up a litle. You're right about killing the dynamics though, I used to ...

Ok, myspace seems to be working again now.
The song in question now appears at the top with older version beneath it.
Hope this one works for you all.

Well I would zip the file but you wouldn't get much of it. It's 6 minutes long and just over 7mb at 160kbs. I put it on myspace last night and for some reason it still hasn't shown up on my profile. Perhaps I have to wait 24 hours now which is just crap. Soundclick is almost instant. Know any other ...

This is all very odd. It works fine for me in firefox.
I'm on a pc but I don't know if it's an os or browser anomaly.

Why do we bother?

This is my second post and noticing that 54 people have checked out my first one and said nothing I'm just wondering why I'm even bothering with a second one. This an instrumental that was formaly using sonic implants sound fonts so as you might imagine there is a pretty big difference. I have left ...

That's a damn fine tune Jim.
I take it the crackling noises that come in at around 115 onwards are intentional?
If so they really do nothing for the piece. I'd definately get rid of them but otherwise it's
hard to fault.

Good god!!
Really good Ashley,
some day I hope to get that good.
Do you not even use any of your sequencers effects, busses and stuff?
I found my CPU usage seemed higher when I was trying to do it all in BFD.

My first tune on here

Hello peeps. This is a work in progress and when I have lyrics I'll atempt to sing along. I'm quite pleased with it thus far but have a few concerns about realism and some drum rolls in particular. Drummers may only ever dream of playing them like I have programed them :-) It's a kind of accoustic s...
