Can I use adapter to run TimeFreezer in ProTools 10?

I'd like to have a plugin that emulates ElectroHarmonix's Super Ego and the time freeze function.
TimeFreeze appears to do it, but it's a VST plugin.

I have BFD3 running on a Mac (10.9.5) and Pro Tools 10.

Can the Adapter be used to wrap TimeFreeze?

Is there another plugin you know of that will run on Pro Tools 10 (or 11) that emulates EH Super Ego?
