Someone asked for some DLX presets in the main thread, so I'm attaching 13 I've made in the last two weeks.

Keep in mind that I tend to mix a lot quieter than the stock BFD2 presets were, and these new DLX presets reflect that. If a preset is too quiet, just bring up the master volume to compensate.

NOTE: One preset was added a few hours after I initially uploaded this .zip file. So if you happened to download the version with 12 presets, go in and grab this one for an additional DLX preset.

1 More. A studio tight kit, mixed with reference to some key techniques taught by Eddie Kramer (hence the title). Some grooves inc. to demonstrate its sound - note the (Toto) Rosanna groove that someone asked about a while back... Thought I'd have a bash.

The AFJ and EJB kit pieces all swap out well with the mixer settings I've applied so feel free to chop and change pieces.

Hope you like it.

Kit pieces used:

AFJ Kit 5 (complete kit) with the exception of AFJ Kit 4 Snare 1 and an added PER Bells Cowbell (Small).

Comments welcome

Tom, extract the files to:

My Documents\Fxpansion\BFD2\Presets

Once done, open BFD2, go to the Preferences page and click the "Scan For New Files" button.

From our downloads section... put them in the Presets folder in the path indicated.

at first, i put the file in the wrong place.

i figured it out, pretty tough though. had to individually drop the files into the respective BFD2 Preset Folder and the Mixers Folder.

May I point you to my post(s) here: http://www.fxpansion.com/forum/viewtopi ... 0&start=60

I shall be starting a Stewart Copeland artist groove pack soon. I've posted a teaser demo for you all. I hope you like it.

Hello,

This is my first time using the Forum. I've been looking for BFD2 Mixer presets without any luck. I've found whole kit presets (Nice One to anyone who has taken the time to post these) however, I cannot seem to find any specific Mixer sets and there is only a small helping in the BFD 2 Library. Further I cant seem to load up the old expansion presets (Percussion set, 8 bit kit etc.)

I saw a section in the manual showing what appeared to be 3rd party presets (complete with funky pictures) being loaded into the mixer. Do these sets exist anywhere? Anybody come across any in other Forums?

I'm very new to drums, hence being able to jump through presets really help me understand what I should be aiming for/can achieve with practice.

Cheers,

munmun

Here are 21 Evil Joe Barressi presets I cooked up [almost entirely] over the weekend. These cover most of the kit pieces and are geared primarily towards rock.

EDIT
[attachment removed - see my post towards the top of page 4 of this thread for improved versions of these original presets]

Here's a "jungle esq" kit I've just made using JNF, AFJ and Percussion pack kit pieces. Demo included.

Enjoy!
