Just to let you know... BFD22.214.171.124 has gone final. This means it is our latest version update, and we recommend all users upgrade, unless you're running Windows XP, Vista, or OSX 10.4 on a PPC mac.
This version will update your metronomes too, so please pay attention when selecting your data-path during the installation process - it should automatically pick it up, but in some cases you may have to specify it manually.
The plan is to focus our development team on some other products for a while, so for the short-term it's the last BFD2 update. However that doesn't mean it's the last one in the long-term, but we've no plans right now to make one, unless something particularly nasty comes up.
After exhausting all that we can think of, we are giving up on BFD2. We absolutely cannot authorize this using the existing system. Clients are waiting so we have to go with Slate, at least for now. Very sad. Tried to contact by phone, but get only an answering machine during business hours.
Solved, thanks guys.

Unfortunately I have not been following the beta stage. And now I'm trying to find a version history from 2.2 to 2.3. Is there any other changes, updates, improvements, etc other than 64-bit support?
Since you've indicated above that updating BFD won't be a priority in the short term, can you let us know if you've tested the latest release with the Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) betas? Do you anticipate it will work with this OS when it's released later this year?
It's covered in the FAQ's, but the data has been reduced in bit-depth slightly, from 24bit to 20bit. This has no effect on the resulting sound quality, but means we can ship the data much more conveniently for all of us.
We have done no testing on Mountain Lion as yet. We don't anticipate any problems. The transition from Leopard, to Snow Leopard, to Lion, went pretty much without a hitch for us.
Do I need to download & install the audio content as well?
I originally installed a long time ago now, and see that the audio content installers in the updates area are now dated March 2012 - are there any changes to what I already have installed, and do I need to do this?
