"ALERT! Error opening the challenge file, cannot continue"

I had a system drive crash so I'm installing BFD2 on a new drive. I was able to get 2 of my authorizations working, but when I try to authorize the rest of my licenses via license manager, I get this message: "ALERT! Error opening the challenge file, cannot continue"

Any advice?

Don't think I've heard of that one before but if you're installing from the disks then one thing I might suggest is making sure you have the most up to date version of the license manager which is 1.1.11.
Having said that I just checked my BFD2 updates page and it's not there. I think hat's where it used to be though ?

I have the same problem when trying to authorise YAMAHA MAPLE CUSTOM ABSOLUTE on the latest macbook pro with BFD2.
Any solution available?

Yes Tom is from support but as I said the thread is very old.

Just out of interest have you installed the most recent version of the licence manager ?
It's on your accounts page near the bottom

Yes - I have all the software up to date (license manager, BFD2, extension libraries)
The License manager is also saying "Software is not installed properly - please reinstall !" which I did but this did not help.
I maybe doing something wrong since I am not used to macs.
