BFD2 - 2.3.1.6 - Public Beta now available in your user-area!

Postby Drew_fx » Thu Sep 27, 2012 10:01 am

Hey folks,

We decided to put together a public beta for BFD2.3.1.6. This version should fix the following:

Mapping hi-hat closed tip articulation now results in correct mapping.
Cubase crashing on exit should now be resolved.
Level meters should now peak correctly.

Please post in this thread if you've any problems or questions.

Morning,
Both download links are giving me the Windows executable at the moment... Oops.

I've tried running as admin in addition to just running the installer, but it just gets to this spot and sits at 0%. Any ideas?

Have to admit that the Mac version took a rather long time to install, considering that the AU and Standalone App are located on an SSD drive.

Mine are also on SSD and I let it sit a good 20 minutes.

so no more support for xp or any win except win7 from now on?!?

tried on machine running winxp sp3 and it installed fine, opens with no problems, but won't run properly, so back to 2.3.0.38 i went...
don't really want to update os solely to update bfd!

Is V.2.3.0.38 update required or can I go straight to V.2.3.1.6?

Postby johnwmorton » Thu Nov 15, 2012 8:59 pm

My BFD2 is currently V.2.2.2.3. To update to the latest version do I need to update first to V.2.3.0.38, and then to V.2.3.1.6, or can I install V.2.3.1.6 only?

Also, I run Pro Tools 9, which is 32 bit, not 64 bit, so is there any benefit for me in updating BFD2 to V.2.3.1.6? I am on Mac OS X 10.6.8. Thank you.

Cubase 6.0.7 won't load this plugin, just hangs...
Have had to revert to 2.3.0

Any ideas, would love Cubase not to hang on exit...

I've been having so many crashes with this version I have had to go back to an older version.
Trouble is the only other version I can find prior to this one that I have downloaded and saved is v2-2-2-3.
I didn't discover this until I'd uninstalled 2-3-1-6 and would have waited had I known

I don't know what the version prior to this was but I'm sure it wasn't 2-2-2-3.
I wish fx would keep them but they're no longer in my account.

Anyone know what versions came between 2-2-2-3 and 2.3.1.6 ?
More importantly where can I get them as I don't think 2-2-2-3 is even 64 bit but the good news is the presets
that had been causing the crashes are opening fine in 2-2-2-3 so that's something I guess :)

Will send crash logs and offending presets to support.
