Geist Free Note Length - Does it exist in Geist 2?

Postby alphaisnice » Thu Nov 29, 2018 5:07 pm

Hi guys,
I was messing around with Geist and faced a feature that I don't know how it got activated!
I loaded a preset and suddenly I was able to move the length of notes freely! Can anyone tell me how to activate such feature? Because whenever I load other presets all the notes are snapped to grid.
I attached the picture for you to see.
One more question, does this feature exist in Geist 2?

It's an individual setting in a Layer - change the Playback mode from One Shot to Gated, then you'll be able to change the length of each note in the Pattern Editor. Hold down a keyboard modifier (not sure if it's shift, control or alt) if you want finer control over the length rather than have it snap to the Pattern's resolution.
