There's a video up now on youtube called messing around with Tremor. Been up a week now & has had only 66 views.
Basically, it's using a single pattern loop & adjusting the mute & solo buttons as well as making lots of changes between the velocity & repeat step insert functions. Quite interesting in that it's a single pattern & it shows how you can play Tremor pretty much like a real instrument in real time.
I'd love to see more sound design tutorials from FXpansion, covering advanced use of the harmonic controls, like how to make bongos, congas, timpani, maybe even tablas (should be possible I think). It's this quasi-physically-modelled sound design aspect of the program that is most mysterious and would benefit from more instructional material.
Agree. They could make more design and animation tutorials. I'd like also to see them. Animations in apps help users identify connections between interface elements and views; give feedback to users so they know what’s happening; show the hierarchy of pages and screens; and attract attention to important elements and functions.
