License Manager 2.0.10.0 in your user area

Postby Drew_BFDTeam » Mon Oct 28, 2013 4:02 pm

Hi all,

We have a new version of LM available in the downloads area. It isn't yet rolled into BFD3 (we have a build in QA at the moment) but I wanted to get the new LM out for people who are having download connection issues. This version should be much better in that regard.

Download the latest version of LM, install it on your system, and then start your download of the BFD3 content. Let me know in this thread if you have any issues.

Drew
Thanks but it still appears to be 2.0.7 (although the release notes dropdown shows 2.0.10.0), I've DL'd & installed and it shows as 2.0.7.
Best

Just a little question:
when I first installed BFD3 and launched License Manager after scanning I got an error message asking for BFD1 serial. My first FX product has been BFD2 so I just ignore it and I see everything authorized but BFD1. It happens with this last version too. Other than that never had an issue.
Is it normal or should I put BFD2 serial instead?

Thank you

No, it indicates a data path issue... Find which data path causes it to think there's BFD 1.x data, then isolate the folder or file causing it through moving folders out of the data path until you can isolate the data

Thank you Rail.
It did this on the first launch thus I believe the problem is in the BFD3 Core Library.

Just to clarify: it happened (and still happens) when I launched License Manager to authorize BFD3 and automatically scanned for installed products, not when I scanned paths from within BFD3 to find content lately.

Then you have a corrupt install... Reinstall the data using the installer.
