3.0.3 BFD3 percussion does not follow pan

I can move the slider but pan does not move in monitors

Only the kick and snare channels can be alternated between mono and stereo. click on the mono/stereo
interleave button.

Mono channels can be panned just as easily as stereo channels, so I don't think that's the problem. I think it could be that the mix is adjusted so that percussion piece's level in the overheads or other ambient channels is much louder than the volume of the individual mic channel, so that fixed positioning of the piece in the ambients is making it impossible to hear the panning of the individual mic in the final output.
