I would like to use grooves, but modify each one

Postby Ty Ford » Sun Jun 21, 2015 2:34 pm

What's the best way to do this.

Right now if I slide grooves in place and add, subtract or move a hit. The change affects everything in that groove. If I use the groove in different places, I don't always want the change in every place.

Is there a "save as" function so that I can use the same groove, but modify each one slightly to fitted song?

Thanks,

Ty Ford

BTW, I just had some feedback from ReverbNation complimenting me on my "drummer" and his drums. It was a song I created with BFD2. Ha!

Hi,

Simply use the groove editor in BFD3, (right click) copy the selected groove to another slot and then edit... or drag/drop the groove into your host (DAW), duplicate as many times as you wish and continue edits there in its MIDI Editor.

If you have the money I'd highly recommend getting this excellent video tutorial by askvideo

Or this slightly more expensive (but not as good) one from Groove3
