BFD3 v3.3.0.43 fails to work!

Just installed v3.3.3.0.43 successfully.

Now when I launch BFD3 I get the message 'BFD3 has been disabled because the license file is corrupt. Pleas run license manager".

So I do that and it says that I need to authorise BFD1 !!

I don't have BFD1 so I [Cancel]

It states that BFD3 is authorised and ready to use.

It does not work.

What now?

yup- me too. went through license mgr to authorize ( have I now lost a limited authorization now ?)

showing sys error api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-0.dll is missing where before everything was working fine....so now what ?
I am wasting my day off trying to troubleshoot an update instead of enjoying it as I should.

WTF ???

Could somebody from FXpansion please help here?

We can no longer access BFD3!

NB. I also just installed the BFD2 v.2.3.1.6 64bit update that I noticed was available and that has worked without issues.

So what's our problem with the BFD3 update?

Is it a Windows-10 issue?

It was working fine before installing the flipping update.

Is there nobody at Fxpansion who can help?

Silence is not golden, it is just very bad PR and a real disincentive to use the product.

Last week when I installed the BFD3 update the License Manager told me that I needed to authorise BFD1 which I don't have and never have had.

Today it tells me that I need to authorise BFD2 ! - which I do have and it is working, so does not need authorisation.

BFD3 still gives me the license is Corrupt message and fails to work.

What a total mess.

I'm having the same issue and have contacted tech support.

I can no longer use BFD3 since the update. Says I have multiple versions and switches between saying the licence file is corrupt or the licence file is missing.

Can someone from fxpansion please look into this as I am at a standstill with all my projects. :x :x


Hopefully tech support will fix the issue.

Hi all, as mentioned in the 3.3.0.43 announcement thread, this is something we're aware of and are working to resolve - apologies for the inconvenience it's caused.

In the meantime, you can roll back to 3.2.3.3 which will temporarily resolve any issues you're experiencing.

Damn,this is my onlt drum sampler I use and it wont start cause of same problem.Thankfully previous update worked again.

Hi all, thanks for your patience whilst we worked to resolve this issue.

v3.3.0.44 is now available to download, and should resolve any authorisation issues you experienced with the previous update. Please reach out to our support team should you continue to encounter any issues.

We're also in the process of updating License Manager to make it simpler to resolve any "Multiple" errors that should occur due to differing .dll locations.
