Core library download - 1 files failed to download properly

Postby mkrysl » Sat Feb 15, 2020 7:13 pm

I am trying to complete the installation of BFD3. I am trying to download the core library. The license manager runs, with a scroll moving across, with the message "Checking status of files already downloaded". The scroll bar reaches 100%, turns pink and an error message is displayed saying "1 files failed to download properly". I just shelled out $350.00 for this product. I don't really want to get stopped before I even get started. Can anyone help?

A couple of things, are you running the latest version of the licence manager?
Log into your account and scroll down to the bottom of your product downloads, the latest version is 2.0.17.0 so if yours is an earlier version it's always worth upgrading.

Secondly, did you try closing the licence manager and reopening it?
Sometimes you might find it reports as download complete.

I'm sure I have had this and ignored it because although is says there is a file missing it also says it has downloaded 37.9GB of 37.9GB which led me to believe the error message was wrong.

Thanks for your response. As it turns out, the error message was wrong. I opened the log to get more info. When I closed it, the status changed to successful. I was able to click the play button and install the content without issue. Strange.
