Look in the data path where you installed the sample data.. you should see:

AFJ Kit 1
AFJ Kit 2
etc...

Inside those folders will be a Hihat folder.. in each Hihat folder you will see a tweaks.txt file -- you can delete those.

They were there for BFD1 compatibility.

I bought BFD-Eco this weekend and have the serial number for the Rock-Set, but I don't have a link for the download. Am I missing something? Shouldn't I get it in an email?

thanks

Look forward to the drums.

Maybe I missed it and thanks!

I 've had a few hiccups getting Eco up and running, but so far I am pretty impressed.

I just checked out you snare collection.... very nice.

Got the link, downloaded and installed. Rescanned Data base, but I can not find the drums, nor the kits.

Where did you install them to? Check the Data Path(s) in Eco

In the BFD Eco Audio folder with the some other expansions. Should it have its own folder?

I think I may be making a bit of a mess here.

Should all the expansions have there own folders?

I gave the percussion its own folder, but I cannot find the kits and I think that could be why.

One thing i notice about the Rock Legends snare is that it's tuned very low -- it's the lowest tuning of all the snares i have in my BFD2 (ie. stock snares, Glamouflage and EJB quick packs, signature snares v1).

I don't know if this low tuning makes the Rock Legends snare less lively or expressive, but it certainly does sound quite a bit different than anything else coming out of my BFD2 snare channel, even in a busy mix.

I find that it retains a very loose feel even when tuning it upwards 2 or 3 semitones (in practise i never go more than a fraction of a semitone up or down; just doesn't sound convincing to my ears).

Regards
Glenn

CWK presets not loading properly in BFD Eco

Postby simon75 » Sat Aug 11, 2012 4:38 am

G'day, I just bought BFD Eco with the Rock Legends expansion, got it all up and running eventually on my Mac (I had some troubles with the licence first), and it sounds great, excited to use it and all, I also installed the Rock Legends kit, which works and sounds great, however my problem is that the CWK presets don't seem to load anything. All the other presets load kits or sounds, CWK loads nothing. If I load a CWK kit in the kit menu it works too. Just wondering if I have missed something- any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
