BFD Converter for Toontrack DFHS

Postby triggerthehorizon » Tue Aug 08, 2017 11:13 am

I used to ue Toontrack's superior Drummer and still own the original Superior library with Percussion, Drumkit from Hell and cocktail. I saw that FXpansion had released a covnerter to use these with BFD at some point. The Percussion library is still unmatched in my opinion and the kit pieces have way more articulations than what I can get in BFD Percussion so I would love to use these with BFD. Any one have any idea where I can find said converter, I'd be willing to buy a legit copy

Hi Purtington, yes that's exactly it! Where can I get a hold of this tool?

The only thing I can think this would be would be the BFDLAC converter which will turn your .WAV files into the BFDLAC file format.

I would try it myself but am working on a fresh OS install and have yet to install either EZdrummer or Superior Drummer but I think they're .WAV files so I would suggest using the BFDLAC tool on them and see if that does the trick.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try it but no, that doesn't work. There would need to be an XML file too for BFD to recognize and load the samples.
