This build adds further improvements to the graphical resizing of Geist2, and it also adds Spitter2. Please let us know how you get on with this public beta. There are no further release notes for this build.
Thank you so much for the spitter 2 addition ! I really, really appreciate that. I think my geist 1 will quietly retire now. We had an awesome ride.
Edit: spitter2 works in samplitude 2 where I needed it badely, but it brought me a runtime error and a crash in Reaper (latest release, x64, I'm on windows 7 x64). First while scanning it on reaper startup, then not when I insert spitter2 but when I close it and open it back. It's probably my setup.
And the scaling option (I've tried 110 and 120% which is the right size for my screens resolution) now works both in stand alone and in the vsti x64 without apparent problem. So thanks for that too, very confortable for working.

I have not purchased Geist2 yet so I don't have a download for it in "my" user area (support\Product Downloads or Community\My account\your registered products) if that is what you are referring to. The latest version on the product page is 220.127.116.11. If there is another public user location to download from, I have not been able to locate it (sorry if it is obvious to everyone else). If I am missing the boat here, what tabs and menu picks to I need to click to get to the location you are referring to?
I have geist1 but was waiting to upgrade to 2 when the GUI resize issue is fixed that keeps crashing the demo version of Geist2 that I am currently running. I am running Win 7 x64 and Geist2 crashes when I resize the GUI (BitWig / FL Studio). Also, the little pull tab thing in the lower right of the GUI that you grab to resized the GUI also disappears once you resize the GUI window and let go, no way to resize again after that. I am hoping 18.104.22.168 will fix the problem.
So update on the spitter2 thing. I've tested it in my three daw working environnements after full resetup of my windows 7 x64. Started from scratch and I tested it. It crashes reaper, runtime error when you close it and call it back, no go. And you can reload a project that has a spitter2 saved in it , but it crashes when you bring spitter back up the second time. It has the one bug in Bidule and Samplitude, which doesn't keep it from working (transmitting the audio) : when you close and reopen the spitter2 plug, it comes back all white, the name (spitter 1, 2, etc), the status (connected or not), it's just all white. So name your instances before closing or when you call it back you won't be able able to edit the text, but it does NOT crash those two, and I can do my sampling regardless of this issue. When you load back your project, no problem of crash, on first opening you can see the gui, but same problem when you close and try to bring it back on screen. But again, the audio still is transmitted to Geist2, and it doesn't crash neither Samplitude nor Bidule.
Geist 2 will win once they change the fixed grid format. I was hoping new version, new things. But its like new version. Few new things. One thing about updating products is to beat its previous versions. Not saying I don't appreciate the rescaling. But to be honest everything besides transod and rescaling and octave tune is in Geist 1. One of the main reasons Ableton is winning is because they listen to the people. Fxpansion .. listen to the people. NO MORE FIXED GRID in 2.1
