I am happy to hear that Geist2 has not been forgotten. This was my to go app for sampling for quite a while but I am not happy about a few things that got changed from Geist to Geist2. E.g. there is no way to normalize audio inside Geist anymore. This quick editing of multiple parameter for the pattern of one pad is gone and I find myself resizing the different parts of the UI more often than I would like to because the proportions seem to be a bit weird sometimes. In Geist the Browswer was annoyingly small but the rest was perfect…
I could go on. But I still love and value the app and would like to see it getting some love by the developers.

See the problem with this is this was posted in May. and now we're in the middle of August. I don't think the problem is just alone with the software but just the level of execution. There should have been a new build already.. IF Geist is a priority. Again. I think Geist is awesome.. but you guys dont love it. Maybe because its not getting the love you guys would expect? But if you guys aren't putting love into it how do you expect to get the love back for it? Just my personal opinion.

Hi all, apologies for the radio silence.

We're working on some engine and memory management improvements to Geist2 that we hope will see the light of day soon - this will improve the responsiveness of the GUI in particular, which has seen some slowdown with more recent macOS and Windows updates. The update will also include a range of bug fixes and updates.

Whilst we can't provide a specific release date yet, we want to release it as soon as possible, as we appreciate how long it's been since the last update.

We'll be looking into refreshing our beta testing platform, too - if you'd be interested in testing the next update as part of the private beta team, please feel free to send me a PM.

Whatever they do I hope they don't rush a release and break things that were already fixed.

I'd really like to start using Geist again. I haven't started anything in it for about a year and a half.
