Hi,

BFD is the only FXpansion product to be acquired - development of Strobe2, Cypher2 and Geist2 are continuing with FXpansion & ROLI.

BFD and its entire engineering department will now become part of inMusic’s R&D family...

Does any of that engineering department also work on Geist?

No, development of BFD3 and Geist2 was (and is) carried out by separate development teams.

Hope you guys don't abandon Geist. Its genius in someways, nothing out there like it,step sequencer with samples is a great way to work. Not sure why other companies haven't figured that out?Would like to see maybe a better way to arrange or a way to loop the sequencer at any given point in time maybe more step effects? Its so powerfull and is a universe onto itself its like an octatrack on crack lol.You guys should take the concept and merge maybe tremor, one of your synths and geist altogether but still keep the step sequence workflow. That would be amazing? Its such an alternative way to work if you hate moving bits of audio around in a daw.I also love tremor but find it could do with a few more tracks and some kind of arrange song mode.one day I will buy the synths but honestly just between geist and tremor theres so much depth.Be a real shame to see Geist or Tremor abandoned it really is ahead of its time and with a few tweaks could be complete game changers.Id love a hardware version of Geist..
