Dom Beken is a music producer and composer with over ten years professional experience writing, producing and performing music for records, TV programmes, films, console games and commercials. From lush string arrangements and dramatic orchestral scores to hip hop, dance, jazz and vicious guitars.

Dom Beken's music has been featured on documentaries such as Channel 4's "Proud and Prejudiced", TV ads for Carlsberg, AOL, Head and Shoulders, Amnesty International, Stella Artois, Sony Playstation games and numerous radio sports.

Projects have included the recent BAFTA Award nominated "PixelJunk Shooter" (Best Original Soundtrack), production and arrangement for EMI Classics artist Maksim, plus work with Guy Pratt on scores for Spaced (Channel 4), Linda Green (BBC1) and the theme music to The Pepsi Chart Show, collaboration with Jimmy Cauty (KLF) and Alex Paterson on Transit Kings, remixes for artists including Talvin Singh, The Nextmen and Just Jack, writing incidental music for Bollywood films featuring Amitabh Bachan (with Aadesh Shrivastava) and playing/producing/writing with seminal ambient dance act, The Orb as well as current album project "High Frequency Bandwidth".

Other credits include engineering, programming and keys with artists such as David Bowie, Rick Wright (Pink Floyd), Liberty X, Lulu, Catherine Jenkins and Placebo amongst others. A drummer, keyboard player arranger and programmer, Dom Beken works mainly from his own studios with the best in modern sounds and production techniques.
