What are the cymbals in this pack designed for?
Many of the Zildjian cymbals in this collection are designed for orchestras, ensembles and marching bands, although they can be used in any styles of music, especially as interesting alternatives to crash cymbals. The following Zildjian cymbal ranges are featured heavily:
- K Constantinople:
K Constantinople cymbals have a dark, warm, complex and rich sound. They blend with the sound of an ensemble. They are also available in an even darker/heavier version called the K Constantinople Vintage which feature more attack and articulation. - K Symphonic:
K Symphonic cymbals have an immediate attack with a strong midrange and an an almost 'roar'-like sustain characteristic. - Classic Orchestral:
The Classic Orchestral range has a bright and buoyant sound that rises above the sound of the ensemble. - Symphonic Tone:
Symphonic Tone cymbals are orchestral cymbals with a classic and bright 'A' Zildjian sound. - Concert Stage:
Concert Stage cymbals feature a classic 'A' Zildjian sound and are designed specifically for Concert Band playing. - Stadium:
Stadium cymbals are designed for outdoor or indoor marching bands and feature superb projection and dynamics.
